"Buku Latihan" Project

I painted 4 “notepads” at 4 different locations and left a spray can at each individual location .
The purpose of this project was to empower the people of Malaysia to express themselves through the streets.

I believe that the spray can is the sword and shield of the community. It has the ability to change opinions, raise awareness and express oneself directly onto an area. It is highly accessible to majority of the population as the average cost of an individual can is only RM 8.00.

I hope this project will inspire and empower the people of Malaysia , to create art and to express anything that they want . Looking back at our primary school years, the “buku latihan” allowed us to freely express anything and everything that came to mind.
Art is the same, it can be anything you want it to be!
